Underground FLX Oceanic Legends Kiteboard Designs

This range of five kiteboard designs was commissioned by Undergound Kiteboards in 2009. Following on from the previous years range based on mythology of the pacific, the subject matter here is myths and legends of Oceania.

The 125 is a Hawaiian story  about the shark man Nanaue.

The 128 is from the Iatmul tribe of the Sepik river in Papua New Guinea, about a giant crocodile at the dawn of time.

The 132 is the story of Maui catching a great fish, the North Island of New Zealand.

The 135 is a Maori myth of Tinirau, guardian of fishes.

The 138 is a hawaiian myth about the creation of Honu the turtle.
